Excellence and Friends Management Care Centre (EFMC) is a visionary, goal oriented and change driven, public health non-governmental organization (NGO), committed to human development, system re-engineering and disease containment. EFMC works to improve the lives of individuals using effective, efficient, locally generated solutions in lasting ways. Through commonization, integration, and decentralization of public health services, EFMC works to reach everyone in need anywhere and everywhere they are found.

EFMC is domiciled in Abuja, Nigeria and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) (20th of January 2012) with registration number CAC/IT/No 49653) Please see Appendix 1). As a specialist public health management care centre, EFMC provides sustainable public health services with emphasis on public health emergencies of international concern including HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Reproductive Health, Hepatitis and non-communicable diseases like hypertension, diabetes, cancer and accidental/non- accidental injuries. EFMC promotes health and prevents diseases through sound public health practices, and is currently working with several international and indigenous organizations to manage donor agency funded projects in HIV/AIDS, in Abuja, Nassarawa, Ogun and Enugu States.

Excellence & Friends Management Care Centre currently partners with US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN) and FHI360 to provide comprehensive HIV services to Nigerians and measure effectiveness of health intervention strategies in various states of Nigeria. EFMC just concluded The Travel Corridor Prevention Initiative (TCPI), funded by the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA). EFMC up-scaled HTC services to high risk groups; Long Distance Drivers, Okada Riders, Hawkers/Market Women, Female who sell sex, Men sleeping with Men, and People Who Inject Drugs (PWIDs). EFMC also provided other sexual and reproductive health services including free medical consultations. In all, EFMC reached over 21,000 people in need of quality healthcare.
